Nextivity QUATRA 1000 – Active DAS for Medium-Sized Buildings
The Nextivity QUATRA 1000 is a compact and proven Active DAS solution for professional in-building cellular coverage in scenarios where classical cellular boosters reach their limits, while large-scale DAS systems would be technically or economically excessive.
Developed as Nextivity’s first Active DAS platform, QUATRA 1000 has been successfully deployed in real-world projects for many years – particularly in office buildings, commercial properties, administrative sites and functional legacy buildings.
Compact Active DAS – deliberately well defined
QUATRA 1000 is not a large-scale DAS platform but a clearly defined Active DAS system: Each system consists of one Network Unit (NU) and up to four Coverage Units (CU).
This makes QUATRA 1000 ideal for buildings with clearly structured areas, multiple zones or floors, where uniform and controlled indoor coverage is required – without the complexity of large DAS infrastructures.
Active DAS instead of wideband repeaters
QUATRA 1000 operates in a channelized, band- and operator-selective manner. Only the cellular frequencies actually used by the configured network operator are processed.
This results in a network-safe, stable and long-term reliable cellular coverage that meets the requirements of professional in-building installations – clearly differentiating it from unselective wideband technology.
